By accessing or using the First Light Lending website at firstlightenlending.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services. First Light Lending is a referral service, not a lender.
2. Description of Service
First Light Lending is a connecting service that connects consumers who submit requests on our website with lenders and lending partners in our network. We do not:
- Make credit decisions
- Issue loans or lend money
- Guarantee loan approval, any loan amount, or any term
- Act as a broker, agent, or representative of any lender
- Charge any fee for submitting a request through our Site
APR range for loans obtained through our connecting service: 5.99% - 35.99%. Actual rates and terms vary by lender and consumer qualifications.
3. Eligibility
To use our Site and submit a request, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the United States
- Reside in a state where our service is available (not all states are served)
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
4. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
- Submit false, inaccurate, or misleading information
- Use the Site to commit fraud or any unlawful activity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site
- Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or scripts) to access the Site
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers
- Submit requests on behalf of another person without their authorization
5. Loan Requests
When you submit a request on our Site, we attempt to connect your request with lenders and lending partners in our network. We do not guarantee that you will be connected with a lender or that you will receive a loan offer. If a lender does make an offer, the terms of the loan (including APR, amount, term, and fees) are determined solely by the lender. You are under no obligation to accept any offer.
Request amounts range from $500 to $5,000. Not all lenders can provide the maximum amount, and not all consumers will qualify for any loan. Loan availability varies by state and may change without notice.
6. Consent to Electronic Communications (E-SIGN)
By submitting a request, you consent to receive all communications, notices, agreements, and disclosures from First Light Lending and its lending partners electronically. This consent applies to all transactions initiated through our Site. You may withdraw this consent by contacting us, but doing so may prevent us from processing your request.
7. Credit Authorization
By submitting a request, you authorize First Light Lending, its lenders, and lending partners to obtain your credit report and consumer reports from consumer reporting agencies. Please review our Credit Authorization page for full details.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of First Light Lending or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise use any content from this Site without our prior written consent.
9. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site or our services. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee that you will be connected with a lender or receive a loan offer. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, First Light Lending shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Site or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Light Lending and its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
